Google DeepMind releases AlphaProtein Novo for small-molecule enzyme design

Google DeepMind announced AlphaProtein Novo, an enzyme-design pipeline developed with the Frances Arnold and Peng Liu research groups. It says it developed the system on a few standard model reactions and validated designs in its wet lab. To challenge it with nascent chemistries, the team asked leading biocatalysis scientists about partnering on reactions they cared about.
