Robot autonomy textbook and Stanford course materials are free online
Stanford says the book connects classical robotics and modern AI in one framework for building autonomous systems.

Stanford says researchers have made “Principles of Robot Autonomy” free online, alongside lecture recordings, Python exercises and teaching slides. Based on Stanford courses taught since 2017, the book covers how perception, planning, control and learning fit into autonomous systems. The companion site also offers an optional “Ask the Book” AI study assistant.
