Bend's planned rewrite in Bend itself

Bend's developer says he's refocusing on the programming language, with rewriting Bend in Bend itself as his first milestone. In a reply, he said writing Bend in its own language would let him use AI to build it “without the bugs and without the guilt.” He also wants to replace the current compiler with a fully modular, verified one.
