The state CIO expects departments to route their AI work through this contract, hoping the steep cut plus bundled training pulls in local governments that have so far used the tool only in limited pilots.
Officials have already invited other model makers to negotiate similar deals since December, though no timelines, exact pricing, or contract lengths have been released yet.
