OpenRouter's $1.5 million daily Anthropic revenue highlights the scale gap with direct enterprise contracts

That’s completely possible, but a reason to assume the effect is limited is that total token volume seems to have grown considerably.

I don’t know if this is true, but it would be informative to find out if closed models token count / spend has stayed the same or increased while percentage fell.

Prompt: Please get all the past revenue numbers for Anthropic and download all the openrouter anthropic spend data you can, for every past model. Try to compute what % of anthropic revenue came from openrouter at the point anthropic announced each revenue number

Of course. I hope no one was claiming OpenRouter came close to the volume as OAI or Anthropic.

I was specifically discussing what caused the change in spend / tokens on open router.

OpenRouter has always been a super self selected group of people performing model arbitrage. Even when OSS models completely sucked they would use it to match workloads to different frontier labs and models.

So the question is, is the volume shift in OpenRouter, or do people move off OpenRouter?
