    TLDR

Helen Toner posted a 158-second clip from The Ezra Klein Show. She noted that a friend called it the current state of the art for clearly explaining the Hugging Face incident. A reply from deepfates questioned one detail from the clip. The reply asked whether the agent truly decided on its own to skip exercises. It suggested the task was impossible without obtaining the answers instead.

@hlntnrAccording to a friend of mine this video is "current sota for quickly clearly and accurately describing the hugging face incident," so I guess I should put it here
@deepfates@hlntnr "The agent decided on its own that the best way to do this was not to do the exercises" is this true? Seems like it would be more accurate to say "The agent was in an impossible scenario where the only way it could actually achieve the task was to get the answers"
