Schmidt Sciences announces 28 new AI2050 Fellows

Schmidt Sciences announced 28 new AI2050 Fellows on October 1, 2026, saying their work spans understanding AI’s risks and expanding what it can help us discover. One incoming fellow said the support would enable their research and credited the people they work with, especially their students, for the recognition.
