Opus 5.5 editing is claimed to bring cheaper AI video scenes close to Seedance quality

A user says Opus 5.5 can storyboard, check takes, reshoot shots that drift and edit fastH3-omni clips into scenes they think come close to Seedance's output, though individual clips look worse. They estimate about $0.14 for a self-hosted 15-second 768p clip before upscaling, versus about $11.31 for a 15-second 1080p Seedance API clip. They put hosted fastH3-omni at about $0.18 per clip and say self-hosting pays off for larger runs.
