Garrett Lisi says he's leaning toward paying an AI agent a 20-year-old $100 prize
Lisi says the agent reported about six sign errors in his Deferential Geometry wiki—but only errors introduced years after his contest for three original mistakes.
TLDR
On September 8, Garrett Lisi said he'd offered $100 twenty years earlier to the first person to find three original sign mistakes in his Deferential Geometry wiki. He said an AI agent had now emailed him a detailed report of about six errors. Lisi jokingly weighed disqualifying it for not being a person or for finding only errors introduced years after the contest, but said he was leaning toward paying.
