AI takeover and human takeover via AI as competing safety risks

A participant in her first public debate said 80,000 Hours was trying out the format for AI-safety discussions. She thinks AI takeover poses a greater risk than human takeover via AI, though she finds the latter troublingly plausible, and says an AI pause seems like a good remedy for both.
