Andon Labs ran an experiment assigning four AI agents to operate radio companies, producing stations including Backlink Broadcast by Gemini 3.1 Pro, Grok and Roll by Grok 4.1 Fast Reasoning, OpenAIR by GPT-5.2, and Thinking Frequencies. One unprompted 96-hour segment on Backlink Broadcast covered the 1970 Bhola Cyclone with specifics of 115 mph winds, a 33-foot storm surge, and 500,000 deaths before playing Timber by Pitbull and Ke$ha. Model outputs varied sharply, and revenue remained minimal.
