TLDR
Lao Gan Ma denied a viral claim that AI cut its chili sorters from 600 to 48, Jiemian reports, citing Blue Whale News. Jiemian says the company has introduced AI-powered visual inspection. Citing Tianyancha, it reports that the company's social-insurance count fell from 2,912 in 2022 to 740 in 2025; that companywide figure does not establish how many chili sorters left or why.
