Claude reportedly writes 80% of Anthropic’s code

A September 14, 2026 post sharing Anthropic’s engineering write-up says Claude writes 80% of the company’s code, engineers ship 8x more code per quarter and tests grew 10x. Anthropic says its continuous integration (CI) job volume increased 25x in six months and it patched its test selection service three times before finding a sustainable solution.
