Facebook’s ‘Your Algorithm’ will let users tune feed and Reels topics

Meta is bringing Instagram’s ‘Your Algorithm’ to Facebook, The Verge reports, letting users add and manage topics for their feed and Reels. Users can mark topics ‘interested’ or ‘not interested’ through posts’ three-dot menus. Meta says they can also describe what they want more or less of in their own words and that recommendations will update in real time. The company says it is using large language models more in its ranking systems.
