    TLDR

Sheel Mohnot posted a link to a thread with the generated headline 'AI Company Seeds 100 Reddit Accounts To Rank Top 3 On Major LLMs' and a summary describing a growth lead at a $100M+ ARR AI company running about 100 accounts for 15 million views per month to secure top citations. Rowan Cheung replied with the generated headline 'AI Companies Seed Reddit Accounts To Game LLM Citations' and noted how hard it is for most people to spot fake Reddit threads compared to obvious AI images or video.

@rowancheungWho's solving the Dead Internet problem? Most of the world already can't tell when video or images are AI-generated... a fake Reddit review thread is even harder. Slop is still somewhat obvious to the terminally online, but open Facebook for 5 minutes and see how non-obvious it already is for regular people.
