Poll finds no rise in US adults reporting cyber incidents since Claude Fable 5's release
Epoch AI Research says its Ipsos poll found about 45% of US adults reported a past-year cyber incident in September.
TLDR
Epoch AI Research says about 45% of US adults reported at least one cyber incident in the past 12 months when it polled them with Ipsos in September, compared with 46% in June. It says that share has not grown since Claude Fable 5's release. Other indicators have risen: its earlier research found roughly five times as many vulnerability disclosures from notable organizations. The poll measures whether people experienced incidents themselves.
