All your ML knowledge are belong to us
the jokes write themselves
Extropic founder Guillaume Verdon posted a static meme that swaps the familiar anti-piracy warning for the line 'YOU WOULDN'T DO ML RESEARCH' on a black background, complete with a small 'sponsored by' Anthropic logo in the corner and the caption 'All your ML knowledge are belong to us.' The image parodies classic public-service ads without linking to any documented policy or restriction.

No concrete Anthropic rule, benchmark change, or access limit is cited in the post or cluster, so the meme functions as interpretive satire rather than evidence of a specific barrier.
Verdon, who runs Extropic and promotes effective accelerationism, has previously voiced concerns about concentrated control in AI development, yet the current post offers no new details on those positions.
Some users agreed with Beff Jezos sharing the Anthropic parody meme on ML research while others criticized researchers for supplying data to improve Anthropic's systems without credit.

@PxlHulk You wouldn't ask about basic biology even.

@fristovic_ 💯😂

@beffjezos 🤣

@beffjezos 🙂↔️🙂↔️🙂↔️

@beffjezos Agreed. I have different research in mind.

@PxlHulk Brother

@beffjezos ML researchers tokengooning on Claude are useful providers of seed data to improve Anthropic's autoresearch loop. At least, on Github you would get stars and some TPOT clout for making an oss banger but in this case you get no credit and support their high market cap.
