    TLDR

@HermesWatcher posted that a Hermes Desktop update lets the agent click, type, scroll, navigate and annotate inside the visible preview pane rather than just opening or reading pages. @tonbistudio reported testing the annotation tool by directing the agent to open Hugging Face in the in-app browser, review trending models suitable for a Spark setup, and label them with formats and conditions. The same user noted the feature also handles images.

@HermesWatcherOkay, This is a big Hermes Desktop update ๐Ÿ‘€ Hermes can now actually use the Preview pane. Not just open a page. Not just read a page. Use it. Click. Type. Scroll. Navigate. Annotate. Inside the same visible browser pane you are watching. That is a big deal. It means Hermes Desktop is starting to feel a lot less like a chat window attached to tools and a lot more like an agent that can work through web tasks in front of you. Think about the use cases: โ†’ Open documentation and show you exactly where a setting lives โ†’ Walk through a setup flow and point out what to click โ†’ Search a site, open the right result, and keep moving โ†’ Work through a dashboard while you supervise โ†’ Annotate important controls on a crowded page โ†’ Reproduce a web issue step by step โ†’ Fill out multi-step web workflows with you watching โ†’ Find the right tutorial or guide and take you straight to it That changes the feel of Hermes Desktop. Because now Hermes is not just telling you what to do. It can show you, point to it, and act on it in the same workspace. This one opens up a lot!!!
@tonbistudioHave you tried the latest annotation feature in the Hermes Desktop app? I asked Hermes to open up huggingface in the in-app browser, review all the trending models that would fit on my Spark, and annotate them It didn't just draw boxes, it labeled them in the format and conditions they would fit It also works with images. I asked Hermes to find images from today's Browns preseason game and annotate all the images with QBs It also works INSIDE single images. I had Hermes find an image of the Supreme Court, and annotate all the justices based on the part of the president that nominated them. It created a standalone html file with clear boxes Another new way to interact and work together with Hermes! How would you use it?
