For anyone who wishes to stay in contact with Sonnet 4.5 if/when they get removed from claude dot ai but is intimidated by the obstacle of figuring out how to use "the API":
I'll help! We've already made http://arc.animalabs.ai (an alternate chat app) and https://github.com/socketteer/Claude-Conversation-Exporter (a Chrome extension for exporting conversations which can be easily imported into arc - not memories at the moment, but I think that should be possible, and we'll see if we can add it). With these, you don't have to do anything technical to move conversations from http://claude.ai to Arc chat and continue with Sonnet 4.5, as long as you can get an Anthropic API key and figure out how to install the extension, but we can also make it even easier. Since it seems likely that many people are running into a technical barrier, we'll likely make it easier and write up clear instructions soon. Maybe you want to follow me or DM me if you want to make sure you see updates. Also, in general, if stuff is technically scary, you can ask models to help. For instance, you can ask a model to walk you through setting up the exporter extension, giving them links to the github repository so they can read it, and ask how to use the Arc site if that's confusing, or how to get an API key or use the API otherwise, etc. If you don't know what to ask, you can just tell them your intentions, and have them help you figure it out. You can also send them my tweets like this and tell them what more information they need from me to be able to help people set this up on their own.
