    Apertus 1.5 joins Proton’s Lumo AI assistant

    A post announcing the integration says chats stay encrypted and users can choose to donate anonymized feedback to the Apertus team.

    TLDR

    ETH Zurich says researchers at EPFL, ETH Zurich and the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre have partnered with Proton to make Apertus 1.5 available in Lumo. It says the partnership gives the Apertus team direct feedback from real-world use for the first time. A post announcing the integration says users can opt to donate anonymized feedback while chats stay encrypted.
