Rose Yu promoted to full professor at UC San Diego
Rose Yu has been promoted to full professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of California San Diego. The promotion takes effect September 1 2025 and includes a three-year accelerated merit advancement to Professor Step II Off-Scale after departmental and campus review. She joined the faculty in 2018. The recognition highlights her contributions to physics-guided AI and spatiotemporal data research conducted with students mentors and collaborators.
