@soldni You should teach a grad seminar class in the age of AI :) After you have dealt with all the AI generated slides and presentations we can talk. Fwiw I am not berating. AI promises efficiency tradeoff so it’s not surprising that students use it.

yes there a lot of not-so-engaging presentations, but many are early career researchers who are still learning the trade

berating them for reading script, slides, or accusing of AI generated is a bit too much punching down

@TuhinChakr I don't doubt your experience in the classroom!

but its not healthy to call 90% of oral sessions bad, unecessarily antagonistic towards junior folks
