    TLDR

Alice posted a complaint about the ChatGPT desktop app. She explained that Codex and ChatGPT operate from different credit pools, allowing separate management. However, the interface only shows Codex threads when viewing ChatGPT conversations. ChatGPT chats remain hidden in Codex mode. She stated this setup works for credit allocation but creates poor usability for users trying to navigate their full history of interactions.

@aliceisplayingthe chatgpt vs codex split in the desktop app is driving me crazy. i can see my codex threads if i switch to chatgpt but i don't see my chatgpt chats in codex and i know. they work from different credit pools. and that's actually good for the user. but this ux isn't it
