Grok Build now operates within your project files. Full read and write plus all new files end up in the project. Big improvement for enterprise workflow creation. You can simply type "work within my project folder called "Folder Name" or type in terminal.
cd /folder path/grok_project_folder grok

@jon That’s a solid upgrade for anyone tired of copy-pasting between chat and codebase. Full read/write inside the project changes the workflow entirely. Just don’t accidentally let it refactor everything at 2 AM.
@jon @elonmusk @grok Realistically using an enterprise format how large of a data sheet can Grok Build handle? What if its over 1 million lines by 300 lines? Will it be able to handle it or will it use tokens and crash? Compare to Claude Opus 4.8 and decide which once I should be using

@jon @elonmusk I spent an hour and a half trying to authenticate Grok build on my Linux VPS last night. I’ve been a systems engineer for 30 years and threw in the towel after 1.5 hours. I did everything grok said and nothing. You really need to fix it before you tout it!
