Herbie Bradley Commits to No AI Text in Writing

Herbie Bradley, a final-year PhD student at Cambridge who researches synthetic data for LLMs and previously worked at EleutherAI and CarperAI, made a soft commitment that he has never used AI-generated text directly in his Substack or Twitter posts, memes excepted, and does not intend to start. He noted that AI writing continues to improve yet he values writers who present their own unique perspectives.
