UK Sovereign AI Launches Rapid Procurement Scheme

James Wise, a Balderton Capital partner and Chair of UK Sovereign AI, posted on X that the group has launched a rapid procurement scheme. He wrote that British startups have long faced barriers selling to the UK government and that procurement has often discriminated against innovative domestic companies. Wise said the new scheme follows extensive work and is the first of its kind from the initiative.
