Sarah Chieng@MilksandMatchaI started making videos freshman year of MIT, and I edited every video with iMovie on my iPad. Many years later, I'm proud to say that I've graduated to DaVinci Resolve -> Premiere Pro -> Final Cut Pro. Funnily enough, my current go-to editor is CapCut Desktop, the TikTok editing app (come at me if you want, but it is the easiest and fastest editor). Although there are no exact plugins, a lot of editing is really tedious. Recently, I've been having ChatGPT control my CapCut to > add captions > color grade everything uniformly > add zoom-ins for emphasis > [insert everything manual, mindnumbing, and annoying] so that I can focus my editing time on the more artistic storytelling elements. I think one thing about creativity today is that, with how good and efficient AI is, it's easy to outsource the craft that makes it feel so rewarding. Don't do that. Astra is awesome. Astra so fast I'm still super excited to try Astra more for video editing, sound generation, etc. I think @XRarchitect and @covacut do a really good job of this.21d
