Ideogram introduces Vector 1.0, its first vector model

On its product page, Ideogram separates those tasks into text-to-vector and image-to-vector workflows. For the API, prompt-based generation allows optional image references, while image-to-vector conversion takes an uploaded image without a prompt.

Ideogram highlights wordmarks, hand lettering and labels, along with logos and illustrations, as uses for the model. The company says each design is a single SVG editable in Illustrator, Figma or code. It also says users can change colors, shapes and gradients.

At launch, Ideogram said Vector 1.0 was live in Ideogram, through its API and on partner platforms. That announcement did not name the partner platforms.
