Where are the humanoid robots? Why aren’t they doing more things for us? Why aren’t we building 100m units/yr? Why do the hands still suck? Why does their brains still suck? Why do even the cheapest ones still cost like 20k? What is going on here
Negative users angrily dismiss criticism of slow humanoid robot scaling progress as impatient, while positive users express hope for better world outcomes.

@bayeslord Give it a minute for fucks sake, jeezus you people

@average_joe_x2 I want better for the world

@bayeslord Because that's pretty much AGI level stuff and the stuff we have is at best proto-AGI, you should know this already. :)

@bayeslord first wave of influencers reacting to ones that do household chores/cooking/landscaping, construction, warehouse work etc the $ will make it happen

@bayeslord Evolution gave humans one hell of a prior

@bayeslord Can't yet allow.

@bayeslord Cheese?

@bayeslord It turns out capital alone doesn't guarantee that technical challenges will be solved.

@bayeslord So do I

@average_joe_x2 @bayeslord no.

@bayeslord Because we are in 2026

@bayeslord You're free to do it if you think everyone else is slacking

@bayeslord My cats learn physics by knocking stuff over. Humanoids learn from tokens. That's the problem. $20k gets you servos, not embodied intelligence. Sim-to-real is the killer.
