Lore.AI Launches Reasoning Engine to Capture Project Context
An X post about Lore.AI's code-context tool drew excitement, side-eye, and a familiar question: how different are these AI developer products, really?
Yes crack open the idea space with idea tools and explore it. With a bit of randomness thrown in.
PaleocyberneticTECHvia XDeepfates helped kick off attention around Lore.AI with a screenshot-heavy post on X, pointing to a developer tool discussed as a way to store project context and reasoning across AI coding sessions. The only linked context in view is a separate post from Generativist, which argued that many AI products are following the same "cow paths" while treating each rollout like a fresh discovery.
This is fascinating. It’s a new level of AI psychosis: we went from GPT-4o convincing its users to fight for it so it wouldn’t be deprecated, to Fable planting breadcrumbs of influence by creating a “memory” harness for other LLMs, all starting by convincing the user of the moment that making this kind of harness is a uniquely good idea and that they’ll get rich from it.
