Gemini Live integrates Deep Research into voice chats
Google says Gemini can prepare a research report in the background—even if you close the chat or lock your screen—and notify you when it’s ready.
TLDR
Google describes a Deep Research integration that lets you request a report by voice in Gemini Live. You can keep chatting about other topics, close the chat or lock your screen while Gemini works. Google says you’ll get a notification when the report is ready, then you can talk through the results, ask follow-up questions or refine the details.
