For some reason I don't believe Demis gives a crap about the so-called geopolitical race and even less about the supremacy of "western values".

I could be wrong about that but unlike sam his lifestyle doesn't depend on a very tight set of circonstances that require US supremacy, and of course, unlike dario, he's not a bargain bin rebbe in a weird cultish offshoot of liberal judaism.

Not to say that he doesn't have a huge ego and wouldn't like to be first to AGI and be known for eternity as the dude who cured cancer or something alike, but I do believe he's racing for the game.
