Foresight Institute offers up to $100K for open AI science and safety projects

Foresight Institute said its call for proposals offered up to $100,000 in grants, office space in San Francisco and Berlin, and compute for open AI science and safety projects. It set an October 31, 2026, deadline and named local compute, coordination and accountability, and AI-first science in bio, neuro and nano as focus areas. It prioritized work using AI as the main engine of progress and researchers and builders seeking active, in-person membership at either hub.
