Quantitative finance workers still receive considerably higher average cash compensation than AI researchers, one post says. It quotes another post that credits a friend with a rule of thumb: who pockets cash rather than equity reveals what is scarce. That quoted post argues that much more cash is going to capital itself than to labs.
