    TLDR

cozyblazex posted that GPT-6 Astra finished Portal without human input. The tweet includes a split-screen screenshot labeled GPT-6 ASTRA PLAYS PORTAL showing the game view with burning wreckage and a small agent inset. The author noted OpenAI's 2016 goal of solving many games with one agent and expressed surprise at the speed of progress. Multiple accounts quoted the post, including one calling it a triumph with a Portal reference and another suggesting multiagent Portal 2 co-op as an eval. One reply speculated the model meets some AGI definitions based on this and other tasks.

@cozyblazexAnd... GPT-6 Astra has autonomously completed Portal! I didn’t expect this to happen so soon, but I’m glad we've made so much progress here. I was reminded that back in 2016, one of OpenAI’s technical goals was to “solve a wide variety of games using a single agent.”
@scaling01that is incredible GPT-6 Astra played through Portal all by itself
@ChaseBrowe32432After seeing this and several other things (~100% on all ARC-AGI, very interesting ML research behavior, very strong ability to implement ultra-long-form tasks when you engage it properly) I think Astra is most likely AGI by _some_ reasonable definitions?

@kalomazethe people need Portal 2 co-op as a multiagent eval.
@AndrewCurran_This was a triumph I'm making a note here: 'Huge success' It's hard to overstate my satisfaction
@FakePsyhoThis result is amazing, but not for the reasons people think. It has very little to do with puzzle solving since it's a linear game and you just have to strictly follow any of the detailed walkthroughs. The impressive parts are efficient 3D navigation, spatial reasoning, combining instructions from multiple sources, micro adjustments after failed attempts and not getting stuck. The cherry on top is the relatively low cost (167$).

@GaryMarcus@scaling01 if it’s legit and not just relying on tons of prerecorded walkthroughs it is indeed very impressive. i notice that it is edited and not a lot of detail is given about how it was done. i would like to know more.
