SpaceX reportedly raises its 2027 data center capacity estimate to about 13 GW

SpaceX reportedly revised an earlier 10 GW estimate for 2027 to about 13 GW of data center capacity. Another 3.6 GW is reportedly under construction across multiple sites. The expansion could repurpose Starship’s rocket-building and launch campuses as data center sites; a data center at the planned TeraFab chip plant is also a possibility.
