WordPress vs. AI-built websites: visual editing and technical debt

One user prefers WordPress's visual editing to repeatedly asking Claude to resize buttons and text, and worries about technical debt as their site grows.

    TLDR

A user explains why they're sticking with WordPress: they say websites built with language models all look the same and prefer visual editing to repeated prompts for design changes. They also want to avoid technical debt as their site grows, get “SEO-optimized everything” from the start with HTML, and use what they describe as the largest, oldest open-source content management system.

@ConnorShowlerWhy im still using Wordpress: - LLM-built websites all look the same - I prefer visual editing over trying to tell Claude to make the button bigger and the text smaller 5 times over until it gets it right - I dont want a technical deb nightmare as my site becomes large - I want "SEO-optimized everything" out of the gate with html - I want to use the largest, oldest open source CMS available on the market 🤷‍♂️
