Alex Nichol Shares AI Video Experiment Posts
OpenAI researcher posts three short clips testing video generation and inpainting.
TLDR
Alex Nichol posted three videos on X. One shows an elf character in a treehouse slumping backward after dying. Another tests puzzle piece inpainting on a corgi jigsaw image where a hand places a fragment into a white void. The third depicts stuffed animals holding signs to protest their sale as merchandise and question sentient AI. Each clip comes from prompts run through Codex on a Mac mini to produce local 3D animation output.
