One silicon wafer is claimed to yield millions of micron-scale robots

A user claims one silicon wafer can produce millions of micron-scale robots using standard semiconductor equipment, and says the robots can move, think and communicate. They describe “walking” as largely a materials-engineering breakthrough: platinum’s electrochemistry induces surface stress, then a titanium cap makes the film bend. They also say Periodic Labs is teaching AI to do this kind of science.
