Tae Kim Reports No Gemini 4 Timeline From DeepMind

Tae Kim posted that Google is still pursuing frontier AI models yet offered no update on a 3.5 Pro release during a recent appearance. He described awkward laughter from the host and new DeepMind leader Koray Kavukcuoglu when the topic arose. Kavukcuoglu called Gemini 4 the most ambitious run but supplied no schedule. Kim also noted the absence of any Gemini 4 timeline in the exchange. The comments come from Kim's account of the public discussion.
