The @NousResearch Hermes desktop app is sooooo good. Huge step up from just using telegram. Biggest quality of life upgrade is frictionless way to create new chat sessions vs either (a) creating telegram topic gymnastics or (b) intermingling everything in one chat and playing the “/new” game constantly
I hope an iOS app is in the works. Please say it’s true @Teknium 🙏

@davidfano @NousResearch More capable but slower to use and get back into. I need a way to have a separate wya to launch another app instance or something that can deep link. Telegram is just simpler day to day

@trevin @NousResearch This is the same feeling that pushed me toward building an Android companion. Once Hermes is doing real work for you, having it available from your phone starts to feel obvious.

@trevin @NousResearch If the iOS app is half as good as the hermes dashboard on mobile, it’ll be a breeze to use.
@trevin @NousResearch Installed it for a friend on his MiniPC, got another MiniPC in return, running the Desktop app as well at my home. While running one at a VPS. 1 year VPS lease is over. I fully move to the windows desktop app. I love the Hermes Agent
@alejandroreyes @NousResearch No yet. It ends up being slop and explains why there are so many bad PRs lately. Half baked CLIs, didn’t fully using the @ppressdev skills etc. one thing I haven’t tried is to see if getting Hermes to use ACP if it’ll be better
@trevin @NousResearch Its hermes desktop vs Hermes CLI, not Hermes Desktop vs telegram... Telegram/Discord integration is still a core part of using Hermes away from the desk

That’s what pushed me to start messing with the Android side.
If you ever feel like exploring the iOS side, that would be a pretty sick parallel build 👀
