    Wait times for everyday tasks with Instinct, Muse and Grok bot

    A user testing the three bots says Muse was consistently 2–3 times faster on the same tasks, but even simple requests still took more than five minutes.

    TLDR

    After several days trying Instinct, Muse and Grok bot, a user described asking for help with a flight refund, tracking a bag from Italy and securing a long-sought reservation. They reported getting the reservation, but complained that all three bots took too long. Muse was their winner: consistently 2–3 times faster on the same tasks, they said, though simple requests still took more than five minutes.

OBSESSIVELY track my new bag from italy so that the second it is delivered I can grab it 3. i really want to get a reservation at [redacted] but after years of manual checking I have given up. please check and get it for me (I now have a res for tonight) But the only thing that drives me nuts is how long all of them take. @Muse has been the winner though, consistently 2-3x faster on the same tasks. But still > 5 minutes for simple asks :/22d
    Matt Deitke@mattdeitkeComputer use has gotten incredibly good in the past year, and it works great in Muse out of the box! Muse ships with a browser that it uses for tasks that it can't solve with an API or connector. At this point, it's hard to come up with tasks that computer use models aren't able to solve well, even when spanning into a 1hr+ time horizon (see the progress on OSWorld 2.0!) Here's a sped up version of it working for finding the cheapest flights from SF -> NYC!21d

Small tasks that gave me 15 more minutes that I was able to spend time interacting and playing with my kids. The future is here and it’s awesome. Imagine what incredible things people will create, businesses that will accelerate and relationships that will be cultivated with the time agents like Muse will unlock. What a time to be alive.21d

But, like every one of the 21+ other agents we use in production … it requires daily attention if you really want it to take actions that matter It drifts, scheduled tasks don’t fire, quality decays for unclear reasons, etc., at least on more complex and scheduled tasks. This doesn’t mean it isn’t awesome. It is. It just means, like all our other agents … it’s work.18d

Creating spend-limited Privacy cards to spend on subscriptions without having them recur 3. End to end filed an entire visa form for a country 4. Responded to a coordination mail for a wedding by finding the flight and hotel details 5. Look for reservations for restaurants or concerts when they open and purchase them immediately A lot of the web was designed with dark patterns: increase friction to prevent enough humans from doing something, and now those walls are completely broken. At this point, I feel like I’m squarely limited by creativity and understanding what is possible.18d
