    TLDR

    Dave Fontenot posted that OpenRouter may be the most strategically positioned business in AI, noting that if the long tail of models thesis holds, Stripe and Ramp could prove more valuable than the labs. Daniel replied that OpenRouter shares the same developer experience thesis as Stripe and linked to an image and earlier post. @davefontenot@HarryStebbings OpenRouter may be the most strategically positioned business in all of AI. If @alexatallah's thesis on the long tail of models continues to be true, Stripe and Ramp could end up being even more valuable than the labs themselves.
    @growing_danielI get it now. It’s the same developer experience thesis as stripe
    @CathieDWoodSmart.
    @gregisenbergAX is the new UX. Software was built for humans clicking, now it gets rebuilt for agents. Stripe just paid $8B for OpenRouter betting the main user of the internet is an agent. Rebuilding all that software is 1000+ new companies. The most obvious opportunity in a long time!
