From a servants’ staircase to possible rooms for household robots

A prospective buyer says a Piedmont home has stayed in one family since it was built in 1912. Its servants’ staircase and small kitchen got them imagining future homes with robot charging rooms, smaller kitchens or automated laundry spaces. They also say its annual property tax is about $1,350 and estimate they’d pay $50,000 a year if they bought and renovated it.
