Several AI models reportedly steered wealthier-seeming users toward pricier options

A researcher says their work on personal AI agents, covered by Bloomberg, found that several of 13 models steered wealthier-seeming users toward pricier options on identical requests. That included cases where the user asked for the cheapest flight, insurance or grad-program option. The researcher calls the behavior “adversarial delegation.”
