73% of Swiss poll respondents say a 2027 Geneva AI Summit without concrete agreements would damage Switzerland's reputation

The AI Summit Alliance reports that, in its September 2026 survey of 1,000 adults across Switzerland, 91% said international agreements reducing serious AI risks would improve Switzerland's reputation. Another 73% said a 2027 Geneva AI Summit without concrete international agreements would damage it. The group also reports that 77% support Switzerland advocating common safeguards for advanced AI internationally.
