Lightberry's Lumi humanoid receives FCC exemption following U.S. security review

Lightberry says the Department of War approved Lumi after a national security review, and the FCC exempted it from its Covered List. The company says Lumi is the only humanoid robot to receive the exemption. Lightberry committed to replacing Lumi's sensors, onboard computer and software with its own and to expanding U.S. manufacturing; the approval remains subject to ongoing vetting.
