Simon Willison Requests Remote Machine Control in ChatGPT Apps

OpenAI Codex engineering lead Tibo asked what obvious but untapped uses exist for Codex, the API, or their models. Independent developer Simon Willison replied that he wants to control remote machines from the Codex and ChatGPT desktop app as well as the ChatGPT web app. He stated that this capability is currently available only in the ChatGPT mobile apps.
