The case for Rust if AI agents write it well

A post argues that strong AI-agent Rust skills would bolster its case if developers don't read every generated line.

    TLDR

The poster argues that languages AI agents can't write well out of the box may have a harder time in the future, raising Elixir and Go as examples. They clarify that not every app needs Rust-level performance. But if agents write Rust well and developers don't read every line of generated code, they see that as an argument for Rust.

@dhhAgain, I'm not saying that all apps need Rust levels of performance. Far, far from it! But I am saying that if agents are really good at writing Rust, and you're onboard with agent acceleration meaning we don't read all generated lines, then it's a good argument for Rust!2h
