@BrendanNyhan How to determine who gets credit for the scientific breakthrough? If we are going to remove the craft element from scholarship (which is where concerns about process are relevant), does authorship even matter?
@toddntucker I agree that's a mess, but first order priority has to be science and discovery, not our parochial career assessment concerns.
